Municipal Council appoints a Chief Administrative Officer for the Municipality.
The Municipal Government Act and the Municipality's By-law 51, Chief Administrative
Officer By-law, outline the responsibility and authority of the Chief Administrative
Officer.
This position is accountable to Council for the coordination and administration
of the Municipality's governance and its affairs; the administrative direction
of the Municipality's Departments; and the development, implementation and administration
of the objectives, policies and programs established and approved by Council in
accordance with all applicable by-laws and regulations.
