Welcome to the Land of Orchards, Vineyards and Tides!

On behalf of the Municipality of the County of Kings, I extend to you a warm welcome to our community. Located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley on Canada's magnificent East Coast, the Municipality is committed to providing our citizens with excellence in customer service. The Municipality of the County of Kings takes great pride in what the valley has to offer.

I invite you to visit our community and experience the hospitality, uniqueness and beauty that our area has to offer. As your Warden, my priority will be to strengthen the ties that exist between the citizens and their elected representative for the County. I believe that now is the time for new ideas and a fresh perspective on how to handle our community’s most important and challenging issues. My interaction with business and community groups and all levels of government has prepared me for the challenge of rebuilding consensus for the municipality. I believe in strong leadership, without micro management, being decisive yet respectful, in building consensus, not creating dissention and acting in the best interest of the community as a whole.

The municipalities focus is on fostering good management practices and accountability, and excelling in customer service. Our constituents are, and always will be, our number one priority. To our constituents, thank you! Your ongoing support and encouragement in the municipality is invaluable. We exist to address the needs of our communities and our relationship with you is an important one.

I am fortunate, and honoured to have the opportunity and responsibility of serving all the citizens of Kings County. On behalf of Deputy Warden, Janet Newton, the Councillors and the employees we thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Diana Brothers
