The Annapolis Valley Regional School Board (AVRSB) provides public school education
from Primary to Grade 12. In addition to Kings County , the AVRSB also serves West
Hants in the east and Annapolis County in the west. Several new elementary and secondary
schools have been constructed in Kings County in recent years to replace older facilities
and respond to increased need.
Post secondary education is available at Acadia University in the Town of Wolfville,
an institution which MacLean's magazine has identified as one of the best in
Canada.
The Kingstec Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College also provides specialized
post-secondary educational opportunities in a variety of trades and occupations.
